Amiga Taylor. Executive Director
Amiga Taylor started her journey with Ephraim’s Place as a Board Member in 2014 and officially became the Interim Executive Director in June of 2017. Prior to Ephraim’s Place, Amiga has acquired more than 8 years of extensive management and coordination experience in education, arts & culture and in the sports & recreation sector. She possesses a strong background in human resources, administration, community relations, and program development. Amiga is the Co-Founding Executive Director of 4Reasonz, a former Program Director of a Toronto based arts organization, and a former Project Manager of an award-wining Yo’ Mama and Solace Magazine.
Amiga obtained her BA is Radio and Television at Ryerson University in 2012 and her Masters in Media Production at Ryerson University in 2014. She is very proud that she received the TD Michaëlle Jean Foundation ‘Changemaker’ Bursary in 2015 which was award based on a written proposal and an efficacious development and execution of “Bruxism,” a community arts-based multimedia project for 15 racialized youth from marginalized GTA communities.
